PMRF fellows receive a monthly stipend of Rs 70,000 and an annual contingency grant of Rs 2 Lakh. To be considered for the PMRF, candidates must first be admitted to our regular Ph.D. programme. The Institute then nominates top candidates with outstanding academic records and research potential. The final decision is made by a discipline-specific Selection Committee. Recipients must adhere to PMRF regulations, with the fellowship's continuation dependent on annual reviews of their research performance. The advantages of PMRF fellowship are presented here. Other details regarding PMRF programme can viewed at https://www.pmrf.in.
